Adrift In a Red Sky

Today is a day of rest. Peaceful meditation far away from the noise of the cities. Far away from the chattering masses. I will sit on the hill cross-legged, and breathe slowly in and breathe slowly out. I will clear my mind of the nonsense. I will cleanse myself in the sea of tranquility and set myself adrift in the red sky of dawn.

"I must go down to the seas again, to the
lonely sea and the sky,
And all I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by,
And the wheel's kick and the wind's song
and the white sail's shaking,
And a grey mist on the sea's face and a grey dawn breaking."

                                 John Masefield 1878 - 1967
